Crystal is a great community and has been my home for over 25 years. My children grew up here. I love the people, the neighborhoods, the parks.
I grew up in Davenport, Iowa. I am the 8th child in a family of 10. I went to college at the University of Iowa in Iowa City and studied communication and psychology. Soon afterwards, I moved to the Twin Cities and eventually made Crystal my home. I have been married to Randy for 31 years and we have two sons - Rory and Jackson.
I believe in giving back and have been involved in this community in many ways. Currently, I serve as President of the Crystal Historical Society. I also serve on the Community Board of the New Hope YMCA.
In years past, I have been involved in our community in many ways. I served on the boards of several non-profits, I have been a Guardian Ad Litem, a den leader for the Cub Scouts and 5k race director. I am an advocate of our local schools and a very involved as a parent and as a community member.
My family is pretty outdoorsy and love all that Crystal has to offer – so close to our home!
One of the things that make Crystal great is that the city runs efficiently. We need leadership that is responsive to citizens, uses the city’s resources carefully and has a strong vision for Crystal’s future. I am that candidate. I appreciate your support and your vote on November 6
